Tonight's programme
You are the applause director. Arrange the audience, choose who claps first, and engineer an elaborate ovation for something that scarcely deserves it.
EEnthusiast: claps 1 beat after any neighbor claps.
SSkeptic: claps 1 beat after at least 2 neighbors clap on the same beat.
LSlow responder: claps 2 beats after a neighbor claps.
CSleeping critic: never claps. If a neighbor claps, they wake and you lose.
- Neighbors are only the seats directly up, down, left and right (no diagonals).
- Everyone claps at most once.
- The first beat on which nobody claps ends the applause, even if a slow responder was still waiting.
Bravo!
